I'm determined to expand my sock repertoire this year! I like my basid DK 48 stitches on 4 needles, cuff down, basic turned heel - nice and quick, no pattern required. I cast these on last night, Diamond Lace socks from Vogue Knitting's Ultimate Sock Book, which is very good. Lots of new things for me to try - toe up, lace pattern on instep, 5 needles rather than 4, temporary cast on (only done that once before). Pictures show how far I have reached, hope to crack on with them today.
So far I haven't attempted a toe up sock. Definitely on my list of Things To Do this year. Good luck with the knitting blog. Love the name :)
