These socks are for my friend Dave, and will go off in the post to him this week; bartered for a nice griddle pan for outdoor cooking.
I spun this Black Welsh Mountain wool yesterday, ending up with enough for a hat, hoepfully; already on the needles, it's lovely to knit with, and I can actually see how my spinning is improving.
What beautiful hand-spun yarn! My husband is making me a spinning wheel, and I long for the moment when I too can say "I spun this Black Welsh Mountain wool yesterday".
