Sheep - from lamb to loom, by Kate Lynch

I bought this book on Monday at the Glastonbury Wool Festival. I was lucky enough to meet Kate Lynch herself, who happily signed my copy. Lovely, lovely book, can't wait to get stuck into it. Above is my favourite picture from the book - Christine knitting - the original of which was on show at her table. If I'd had the money, I'd have bought it there and then. Will report back when I've read it - shouldn;t be long!

Man's knitted beanie in North Rondalsay wool. I knitted this for my online blogshop Pocaid (http://pocaid.blogspot.com/), but I posted a pic up on River Cottage forum in the craft thread and sold it literally in five minutes. It never even got as far as being listed on Pocaid lol I also got two orders for slelveless  sweaters ( a la Hugh) as well. A good morning's work :)

Rainbow hat

Just finished this off tonight for a ranibow themed swap over at the Creative Living forum:

I've not been a huge fam of knitting 'tape' yarns before, but this one was really nice to knit with, slightly stretchy, so will keep its shape really well. Still have another ball and a bit left, not sure what to do with it, might knit a hat for myself! lol

Feather and fan scarf

An old favourite of mine, knitted many times; this in a shaded pure wool, lovely to knit with. For sale in my online shop Pocaid:

Erin

This is a beautiful pattern from Louisa Harding's new book 'Knitting in the Details'. I started it eysterday, too it out in the car, and due to a fortuituous very long detour, got the body of it done before I got home, and the crown last night; embroidered the daisies this afternoon. Very pleased with it :)
