On other needles............

I have finally got round to knitting something for me!  This is Faery Ring by Elizabeth Scott Huff, and I'm taking part in a KAL for 'knit a sweater in 30 days' on Ravelry, so want to try and get this done by the end of the month - life in general permitting, not to mention all the other knitting and stuff going on at the same time. It's an American group, so it's interesting to read about their yarn/wool choices and patterns.

 

 The wool is a lambswool/silk mix, lovely and soft in a vey pretty oatmeal colour. I'm pleased with how it's knitting up, as it's not too stiff and unyielding for the cables.
